Kaitlyn Land, LMHC

Kaitlyn is the owner and sole therapist currently at Safe Landings Counseling Center LLC. Kaitlyn is trained in a wide variety of modalities to assist in meeting client needs, depending on the client. Kaitlyn has been known historically to take on a wide range of mental health concerns, from generalized anxiety and difficulties in adolescent self esteem, all the way to borderline personality disorder and schizoaffective disorders. Kaitlyn’s background in trauma and relationships provides a unique understanding and perspective of the impact of relational stress and trauma on individuals. Kaitlyn has worked with clients of all ages, with a preference for working with people aged 11 and up, especially adolescents and young adults, but will see clients as young as 8 in person, collaboratively with their caregiver. Kaitlyn currently is taking on new clients and is in the process of becoming credentialed with more insurance panels to provide a wider range of care, but is currently paneled with Cigna, Blue Cross/Florida Blue, and Aetna. Kaitlyn offers some sliding scale sessions, based on income and availability.

• Trained in advanced TF-CBT for preschool and school aged children with problematic sexual behaviors

• Gottman Couples Therapy Level 2 Trained

• Certified Marriage and Family Therapy - USF

• Masters in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling - USF
